Quoted Dynasty should enjoy more success at Goulburn

Silent Sonny and local trainer Denice Warren can continue their successful partnership with victory at today’s Goulburn meeting.

Goulburn trainer Warren’s greyhound jumps from box six in the first of three heats of the Palmerbet Goulburn-Wentworth Park (race five, 440m) aiming to further improve his career record of eight wins and three minor placings from 17 starts.

The impressive son of Cosmic Rumble and Something Blue started his racing career in Queensland but has been a terrific performer since transferring to Warren’s kennels, scoring three wins and two minor placings from six starts.

Silent Sonny was an impressive winner at Sydney’s Wentworth Park on his last start, defeating a quality field over the 520m circuit.

He has run well from the middle boxes and scored a Best-of-the-Day 24.94 victory at Goulburn on May 16.

Warren’s kennel has been flying recently, with her greyhound Quoted Dynasty recently taking out the $20,000-to-the-winner Sprint Challenge at Wentworth Park.

Kennelmate Something New finished second in that race and jumps here from box three in a high-quality third heat (race seven).

He will have to overcome Big Black (box one), an impressive winner of the recent Richmond Riches short course race for trainer Donna Campbell.

He looks ideally positioned to salute again in this race, with kennelmate La Chica Pequena (box five) also looking the top pick in a high-quality Free-For-All (race eight, 440m).

La Chica Pequena has won three of his four previous visits to Goulburn and ran a speed 25.23 from the same draw while saluting at Goulburn recently.

Best bet of the day looks like Your My Love (box three) in the day’s opening race over the 350m.

Your My Love has improved with three consecutive placings and ran a smart 20.22 at Goulburn two starts back.

Ten races are on the card and action starts at 12.02pm.
