Greyhound Racing NSW (GRNSW) is making minor amendments to local rules LR17A, LR68 and LR126.
These amendments provide greater clarity to the local rules by introducing consistent terminology and ensuring that the rules align with GRNSW policies, but will not result in any changed requirements or conditions for industry participants.
Summary of rule amendments
LR17A and LR126 – ‘stud manager’ is replaced with ‘studmaster’, reflecting the correct terminology as set out in the definitions of GAR125.
LR68 – this amendment results in the wording of the rule reading:
Where the Stewards or Committee abandon a race meeting, all prize money and associated payments will be determined and distributed in accordance with the GRNSW Club Funding Policy, as it may be from time to time.
The GRNSW Club Funding Policy is available here.
GRNSW encourages all participants to familiarise themselves with the rules to ensure they comply and avoid the possibility of receiving a penalty due to a breach of the rules.
The amendments will come into force on Wednesday 1 June 2016.
