Double Twist daughters looks a standout

Roxy Twist may not quite be up to the standard of her illustrious parents just yet but she looks a winning chance at Tuesday’s latest Goulburn meeting.

The Warren Scott-trained greyhound jumps from box six in the second of four Madbookie 1-3 Wins (race six, 440m) heats aiming to make it two wins from two starts.

A daughter of notable sire Colliision and former Dapto track record holder and 2013 NSW Greyhound of the Year Double Twist, Roxy Twist has not been seen since competitively since winning on debut over the 301m at Coonamble on October 1.

Her time was only moderate and below the Coonamble track best of 16.96 but she looks a decent chance of saluting again in this.

Cosmic Series (box six) is another promising greyhound for Goulburn trainer Denice Warren and can salute in the first heat (race five).

The well-bred son of Cosmic Rumble and Something Blue has scored three wins and a placing so far, including a smart 25.14 victory over this distance on debut.

Unbeaten newcomer Tempo Dinero (box two) can continue her promising career with another victory in the third heat (race seven).

The Donna Campbell-trained pup has scored two terrific victories over the 472m at Bulli in her first two starts and looks an exciting talent.

Sandave Cruise (box six) is making a first Goulburn appearance but looks the top pick in the fourth heat (race eight).

The Paul Claridge-trained greyhound has scored two impressive wins over the 400m at Maitland and won two starts back on a trip to Queensland’s Capalaba.

Evergreen veteran Spiders Brother can score another victory in a high-class Madbookie Stakes (race 10, 350m).

The Neil Staines-trained greyhound has won 33 races in a sparkling career and broke 20 seconds for this distance in consecutive races at Goulburn last month.

Newcomer Listen Up Jessie (box eight) was an outstanding 19.87 winner at Goulburn last week and looks capable of saluting again in the Greyhounds As Pets Stakes (race 11, 350m).
